like it bright & cheery
- wash all windows and mirrors
- clean the carpets
- dirty dishes out of sight
- kitchen counters cleared
- dirty clothes out of sight
- if you have a pool, keep the pool clean
- repair leaking faucets
- repair loose door knobs
- repair loose stair railings
- repair missing door or cabinet handles
- repair all broken screens, cracked windows
- remove all garbage & remove all animal waste
Keep the TV off or the volume turned low while the
home is being shown.
When it comes to decorating, keep in mind that what
you like the buyer might find cluttered or sterile.
As a rule we usually do not recommend a buyer
spend money on last minute improvements, usually the seller
will not get this money back from the sale.
However, if necessary the top improvements
are to fix a worn or leaking roof, fix a broken heating or air conditioning
system, paint the home, and replace worn or dirty carpeting
